TAYTAY UNITED METHODIST CHRISTIAN SCHOOL

Taytay United Methodist Christian School is a non-stock, non-profit Christian learning institution. Their vision in establishing a school is to produce godly men and women in partnering with Taytay United Methodist Church’s mission. The school is very distinct in obeying their mission and vision, that’s the reason why they are very careful in choosing their faculty staff members. These personnel should possess values that are similar to their vision because they serve as the model and guide of the students in achieving the goals of the institution. What is good about the school is that they are not only focusing on accomplishing their mission but they are also strict in producing highly competitive and intellectual individuals. They design their curriculum in a way that their students will be able to acquire maximum learning on the different aspect of the subject matter. As a result, they are not only producing godly individuals but also fully knowledgeable ones.

My Grammar.

After seeing my sentences and entries I have realized that most of my sentences have many errors. I have realized that I need to improve my grammar. I decided to read books so that i can widen my vocabulary and should listen to my English teacher to improve my skills and knowledge. I should also put a little more effort to study on my own about English and Grammar. Sometimes I'm embarrassed to post in my blog because my grammar might be wrong. I realized that I need to study more grammar so that i can correct the wrong grammar I do. From now on I will listen to my English teacher.

Intramural Program Days

Intramural Program provides opportunity for each student, faculty, or staff member to participate in a variety of wellness, fitness and sports activities. The Intramural Program emphasizes and promotes participation, sportsmanship, social interaction, and healthy exercise. Intramural Program has been organized for the students to enhance and develop their physical activities such as sports or dance, even the values of having a team mates, and to learn the values of sports such as self-discipline, cooperation, self-respect, and respect for others, fair play, and sportsmanship. On intramural days, I have observed that there are fair games among the volleyball players also in the basketball players; they are all good at playing those sports. There is a great camaraderie among the teammates. I did not join any sports but I participate on dancing for the intramural. I have learned that teamwork is very important in every group because you will need each other to be successful. I have a very nice intramural program this year.

DISCRIMINATION

While not fair, people do judge others on their appearance. If you're fit and attractive that will usually work in your favor, but if you're overweight that can not only work against you but it can lead to outright discrimination against obese people. We should not judge anyone by their appearance, how they act on something, or even by their race. Judging someone or being discriminative is not a thing that you can proud of. Just imagine yourself being so different to others, and somebody will look at you in a different way, in a way that you’re a disease or have a disease. Wouldn’t you feel bad or hurt? So when you see someone who is handicap, you should offer a help, make them feel that they are not different, that we are all soul daughter of God. We all sometimes feel judged by others, I was judge by others too, bullying me and stuff. But I always try not to mind them because I have my family who support me and help me to understand things that I should know. I’ll just pray to God and of course I get a support from my family. We should love each other and help each other.

My Life.

Flordeliza and Larry Mercado have three daughters and a son. Their daughters were named, Melissa Laurice, who is the eldest and Lariza the second daughter, Christina who is the youngest daughter and Paul Laurence who is the youngest child.

My name is Christina Mercado, born in year 1995 twenty third of December. My father is working abroad while my mother is a housewife. I studied at Little Jewels Christian School when I was in elementary. I learned a lot of great things on my school age, I gained knowledge and I was able to go through many changes. In my whole years on Little Jewels Christian School we always have chapel service every Wednesday. We praise and sing to God, and then the pastor will share the word of God.

When I was in grade one, seven years of age. I had a disease called Juvenile Arthritis. Always have a stomach ache, head ache and my legs ache. I can’t walk for like three months and I was confined in the hospital for two months. After getting better I immediately go back to school. I remember when I was in grade six I became friendly so I have many friends. And then the graduation day came, we need to separate schools due to our parents will.

After graduating in elementary my mom enrolled me at Taytay United Methodist Christian School, which is a good school. I ‘am now at my 3rd year in high school and I have new friends.
